Ubuntu Linux 12.04 and later includes x2goclient as a standard software package in the “universe” (community maintained) repository; the repository can be added and the software installed using the Ubuntu Software Package Manager or by entering the following in a terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository universe sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install x2goclient
Debian Linux 7.0 and later includes x2goclient as a standard package which can be installed by:
sudo apt-get install x2goclient
Raspian Linux includes the x2goclient as a standard (see Debian)
Fedora Linux 19.0 and later includes x2goclient as a standard package which can be installed by:
sudo yum install x2goclient
